After a short break, Jesse and Nathan are back to talk about Sun Devil men’s basketball’s best start since guys named Byron, Fat, and Alton; football recruiting news and an interview with Coach Graham; Devils in the Super Bowl, Terrell Suggs: loudest man in the NFL; and more!
(An apology: we did neglect to mention the Sun Devil men’s basketball team’s win at Texas Tech on December 22, and the women’s basketball team’s win against Longwood on the same day. As we get back into the swing of things, we’ll make sure not to miss any more games. –Jesse)
Jesse and Nathan discuss ASU football’s selection for the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl against Navy, Will Sutton winning all the awards, and some recruiting news; plus, breaking down men’s basketball’s 7-1 record, how the women’s basketball team is doing so far, the end of the volleyball team’s season (but their future looks bright), and trying not to look forward to baseball season too much just yet.
Happy Thanksgiving! This week, Jesse and Nathan take heart in Sun Devil Football beating another team they were supposed to beat and look ahead to the Territorial Cup. Also, Pac-12 All-Academic honorees in football and volleyball; men’s basketball is 3-0, Jahii Carson is making up for lost time, and Jordan Bachynski is a blocking machine; women’s basketball scores, Devils in the Pros, and more!
The guys are back after a week off, looking briefly at the Sun Devils’ losses in football to Oregon State and USC, the start of the men’s and women’s basketball seasons, the baseball schedule was announced, and a bit of talk about James Harden’s hot start and Vontaze Burfict’s turnaround and rookie success.
Jesse and Nathan don’t want to talk about the Oregon game, so instead they try to find a few glimmers of hope looking ahead to this weekend’s critical (in many ways) matchup against UCLA.
